- Graham Bryce was born in 1928 in Sydney and was educated in London and Sydney. He studied drawing, painting and design at Julian Ashton Art School under Henry Gibbons, Eric Wilson and Jack Passmore from 1945 to 1952. Bryce worked in industry as a designer, illustrator, art director and creative director in three major international advertising agencies established in Australia. He was a recipient of national and international awards for design, exhibition design and TV. In 1960 Bryce was elected as member of the Industrial Design Institute of Australia and he was an exhibiting member of the Royal Art Society. Bryce was employed on the permanent staff of the School of Art and Design within the Department of Technical and Further Education as a teacher of Graphic Design.
