- Andrew Ambrose was born in Bathurst, NSW, Australia in 1938. He studied at Hawkesbury Agricultural College, Bathurst Teachers College, and the University of New England. A self-taught artist, Ambrose painted in acrylics and has works in the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery and private collections.
